First Workshop with Laboratoire Paraghraphe, Université de Paris VIII

Los próximos días 4 y 5 de mayo, en el centro Ars Santa Mònica de Barcelona se celebra el CATmeeting III: First Workshop with Laboratoire Paraghraphe, Université de Paris VIII. “Art numérique : Mythe ou réalité”.

Yo participo con la conferencia “Art in the age of Biotech Chimeras” que tendrá lugar el jueves 5 a las 12:15  en el centro Ars Santa Mònica.  En ella mostraré la manera en que el arte se ha aproximado a las biotecnologías y  a su imaginario tecno-utópico y/o tecno-fatalista asociado,  explicitando la interconexión entre las ciencias informáticas y las ciencias de la vida, y más concretamente dando resultado a las biotecnologías como la bioinformática, que se incluye en lo que algunos han venido a denominar con el término biomedia. La conferencia será en inglés por el contexto internacional del workshop.

Tengo entendido que es entrada libre (en inglés y francés) si queréis asistir.
